ADDIE Model Design

As Instructional Systems Developers (ISD) we use a multi-step process to provide you with training that is customized just for your workforce and for your organization.Our courses are designed using the principles of the adult learning theory, and the Instructional System Development (ISD) approach and applying the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).These steps are critically important because it helps to determine the content and the objectives that are needed for our developers to tailor creative interactive learning that is designed to strategically fit your workforce needs.Instructor-led training would engage the learner through repetitious drills and PDTC applies different content reinforcement methods such as: The Application Feedback method, Peer-to-Peer and discussion methods to list a few.The tools PDTC applies to motivate and promote self-directed learning are specifically developed for the adult learner. With that in mind, we believe learning should be relevant, fun, engaging and promote a learner centered environment for the adult learner to be successful.

Training Needs Analysis (TNA)

Let us join forces and work with you to gain insight and knowledge of your projected organization’s goals and needs. We will conduct a Training Needs Analysis (TNA). This TNA will help identify the current skill levels of your workforce and reveal areas of lack or “gaps”.Gaps show a lack of skills, knowledge and abilities which ultimately effects job performance. This report will help to determine what will be needed for your workforce to reach optimum job performance. With these results you will be able to determine who needs training and the specific areas of training that is needed so that your organization can take a proactive approach to meet your training needs.The results of the TNA will reveal one of two possibilities. Either your organization has a training need, or you have a non-training need.If you have a:Training Need – it reveals a gap in performance and this gap can be met through training. The gap may be a lack of skills, knowledge or attitude.Non-Training Need – this reveals another problem that cannot be resolved through training. This can be anything such as: workflow, recruitment, management or other.
